How can Bands enter ConsTest 2024?

Bands can enter ConsTest 2024 from 2nd November 2023, via the forms below. There is a 4 band per section limit, as not to overwhelm the contest, so entries will run at a first come first serve basis. The Rules and Regulations form can be found below with the Entry Form just underneath. Both of these documents must be signed and emailed to constestopen@gmail.com, with clear intention of paying the entry fee in one of the methods given. Entry is now closed.

Who will be adjudicating the contest?

Ian Porthouse and Ryan Watkins.

How will the draw work?

The contest is a pre-drawn contest.

When will tickets go on sale?

Tickets will go on sale via the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire website on January 16th, 2024.

How will the results work?

The results will be released in an overall ranking, similar to that of the Whit Friday marches competition, with prizes being awarded to the best bands in their respective section.

Where is the contest held?

The Contest is held at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.

Are there parking options available?

There is a multi-storey car park just to the side of the Conservatoire building, named Millennium Point multi-storey car park. Follow brown signs for Millennium Point in Birmingham for this.

What time will the Flowers Gala Concert Start?

This information will be available once the draw has been completed on February 16th. The starting time of the concert is subject to change due to the volume of entrants/performers within the contest.
